National Color to be seen in action in Newmarket

The British Horseracing Authority has salvaged most of the York races that were cancelled due to bad weather. And as a consequence, SA’s mare, National Color will be seen in action in the Juddmonte International in Newmarket, south of England on the 23rd.
Aidan O’Brien has stated that his four year old, Duke of Marmalade will be flown from his base in Ballydoyle base for the second time this week, to participate in the race. However it is not certain as to whether Derby winner New Approach will be participating in the race as it has been suffering from a few problems recently.
Its trainer Jim Bolger will be discussing matters with its owner John Ferguson, before making the final decision about its participation in the Juddmonte. The trainer of National Color another participant of the race, Sean Tarry is not at all perturbed about the change in the venue of the race.
I heard that he thinks that though Newmarket is indeed more undulating than York, the change will be in their favor as National Color has no traveling to do. National Color’s owner Chris van Niekerk is having a runner in a race for the first time, and hopes that National Color will be able to prove the bookies to be wrong.
I think that the best bet for the day is on Marine Boy in the Gimcrack Stakes while the Totesport Ebor Handicap is wide open. Mark Johnston has two probable stayers here, Players Please and Record Breaker where I feel that in Richard Hills’s hands, Players Please may produce something special.
