Lucarno is in the best of form

The King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes of Ascot will be hosting a terrific race on Saturday. This is because everyone will be looking forward to Lucarno having a crack at the all time favorite, Duke of Marmalade.
Last year, Lucarno the St. Leger hero was rather disappointed with the first couple of runs he had completed in the season. However he had managed to bounce back in form without following any terms while running in the Princess of Wales’s Stakes of Newmarket. In this race, he had managed to beat Papal Bull.
Peter Shoemark, the office manager of Lucarno’s trainer John Gosden said that he was in great form and that they were pretty much looking forward to seeing how he performs in the race in Ascot.
He also states that Lucarno had come out of the Newmarket race in terrific form. In addition to this, he says that it is going to be very difficult to beat the Duke of Marmalade if he gets the trip. Being a King George race, it will be a very tough race, but they are hopeful for their horse is in terrific form.
I say that this is a race everyone should look forward to……
