Dobbin plans to Role On at Wetherby

Rose Dobbin is looking forward to Wednesday, where she hopes to record her first Wetherby winner on Role On, against 15 other chasers eyeing the 15,000 pound Supporting Spinal Research Bobby Renton Handicap Chase.
This race spans two and a half miles, and is the highlight of Wetherby’s 2009/2010 curtain raiser. This sever race program constitutes the 19th annual charity meeting that is organized in aid of Spinal Research.
Since receiving her license from the British Horseracing Authority to train in February this year, Dobbin has turned out to be a highly successful amateur rider who has saddled quite a few runners from her South Hazelriggs base of North Northumberland.
The wife of Grand National winner jockey Tony Dobbin, Rose is all excited about racing with Role On, who she had raced to three successful amateur chases last term. According to the trainer, they are looking forward to the race on Role On. So if the gorund is right, then they say that he will really be there.
Graham Lee said that they had done a great job on the Wetherby ground where a little rain would be great, as they weren’t keen on risking him on good to firm ground. I think that this would be a great start to Role On, being the classy horse he is, and the potential he has.
